Cupping Therapy Offers Skin Relief

Soulstice has recently expanded its massage services to include cupping therapy.  This treatment which has been practiced in Chinese medicine for more than 2,500 years, can be used for fascial reorganization and to reduce scarring.  The process involves using plastic cups to lift the skin and separate it from the underlying tissue.

Kent Lemburg, co-owner of Soulstice states, "Cupping therapy allows us to bring fresh blood to the selected area, which tends to increase circulation.  Most commonly it is used to help alleviate aches and pains, and works wonderfully in conjunction with our peri-operative massage services."
